Infinite Future Tennis

Tatsumi has been teaching tennis for more than 35 years and has established a name for himself in Bergen County and the larger New Jersey/New York area. He received the George Seewagen Award in 2009 for being the Eastern Section’s Coach of the Year. He has trained notable athletes, including Kristie Ahn (WTA best ranking #87) and Christina McHale (WTA highest ranking #24). Numerous more players have competed at the college level and excelled at regional and national levels. He is renowned for instilling in children a love of the game and a strong work ethic, and he feels that growth comes from regular, persistent effort.

Tatsumi was raised in Osaka, Japan, and graduated from Doshisha University with a BA in Business. Browse.

The Infinite Future Tennis team has created a training method that will transform players of all skill levels into real high-performance stars, step by step, drawing on Tatsumi’s 35+ years of coaching. They think that high-performance is about pushing players beyond what they perceive to be their physical and mental limitations, concentrating on technical minutiae, and continuing to build fundamentals at every step. Their coaches recognize and appreciate each player’s development of their unique skills, technical requirements, distinctive personality, and confidence.
