ABOUT MTB STRATEGIES

Our team brings together almost 60 years of aggregate experience in the digital marketing space.  To create an online presence that produces real change for our clients requires us to wear many different hats, and be very good at a wide variety of skills.  Everything from crisp content, to eye-catching graphics, from research to ranking tactics, from complex project management to the final punchlist, from complex technical analysis to color palettes, we have to good at all of it. And then we have to collaborate carefully and consistently and keep our projects moving nicely along their critical paths.

Our team is the most important component of our company infrastructure.  Without a team working smoothly together, solving problems together, and learning new ways to work together as we acquire new skills, it doesn’t matter how how great our custom software is, or how powerful our online resources are.  Stated another way: it doesn’t matter how sleek and fast our starship is if the crew on the bridge doesn’t know how to safely get us across the galaxy at warp speed.  (yeah, we like Star Trek).

Peter Wallach

CEO and Founder

Peter has been in the digital marketing space for 22 years, having spent all of the 90’s as an IT consultant to businesses all over New York City.  He ran music production / sound design house and composed, performed and produced music that ran on major cable stations all over the world, and for four years was also a digital marketing consultant to attorneys worldwide, as well as running a successful e-commerce site.   He founded MTB Strategies when he realized that most businesses are not actually generating leads from their web presence. He wanted to create a company that could help small businesses take advantage of all the business-growth potential that the web provides, including organic and paid traffic strategies.

Peter has been in the digital marketing space for 22 years, having spent all of the 90’s as an IT consultant to businesses all over New York City.  He ran music production / sound design house and composed, performed and produced music that ran on major cable stations all over the world, and for four years was also a digital marketing consultant to attorneys worldwide, as well as running a successful e-commerce site.   He founded MTB Strategies when he realized that most businesses are not actually generating leads from their web presence. He wanted to create a company that could help small businesses take advantage of all the business-growth potential that the web provides, including organic and paid traffic strategies.

Director of operations

Eileen is constantly on the move juggling dozens of things at a time without letting a single ball drop, for the most part. She began her career in software development almost 2 decades ago focusing on design, development, and project management. She finds herself drawn to the fast pace changes of the IT and digital marketing industry and thrives on the challenge of learning something new each day. Given her level of comfort in chaos it’s no surprise she has 4 young kids who also do their best to keep her on her toes. She also enjoys running, teaching yoga, vegetarian cooking, and an occasional crossword puzzle.

Client Development / Senior Account Manager

Marc is always interested in learning new things and skills. Marc started off building computers for DELL and gained new skills with his work in real estate, marketing and investments. His passion lies in business and marketing. Here, he’s the guy that makes sure we are always listening to and providing for our clients. Marc has gained extensive resources over the years and continues to build his network as he enjoys creating new relationships. He hopes one day to be able to afford a razor and a jumbo sized can of shaving cream.

Kenneth started early in Sales and Marketing almost 20 years ago selling practically anything. From books to household wares, appliances and automobiles.  His tagline:  I sell anything from Toothpicks to Battleships.  He’s always loved technology and fascinated everything in science-fiction from reading books to watching movies- STARWARS, his fave but definitely not a TREKKIE! He had an early start in the Digital World and started with BASIC and COBOL programming and HTML and  Web Designing.  
 
Kenneth landed a  break when was was given the opportunity to get additional training on digital marketing and SEO. He learned fast and it came to him. He treats every challenge as an opportunity for growth to better his craft and excel in my skills.  There’s always a thrill and excitement in every job or task done perfectly with precision and accuracy.
 
In his downtime he listens to podcasts  and reads books of Carl Sagan and Isaac Asimov.  To keep fit, he hits the road and runs. But nothing beats his love for Photography!

James sees himself as very interesting man with amazing technical skills.  We agree with his opinion most of the time.  His responsibilities are crucial to our work at MTB as his work revolves around the highly technical and fast moving world of ranking tactics.  His work is key to getting the sites that we build (or sites that already existed) the authority they need so that Google moves them steadily up the ranks to the promised land of page one.  James is a self-proclaimed half-introvert and half-extrovert, who can spend his whole day in front of his high-spec computer browsing the internet and yet still enjoy playing a good game of basketball with his friends or having fun with his family.  He likes to point out (too often) that he participated in a real live boxing match when he was 12 years old!  (we still don’t know if he won or not)  As a technology enthusiast, James loves the painstaking work it takes to get our sites to move up the ranks, and to keep up with all the latest tactics and strategies.

Lea

Lea thinks of herself as an introvert but not everyone agrees. She doesn’t want to be in the spotlight but most of the time you can see her leading and in front of the crowd. She loves chocolates so much that she can’t go through the day without a big piece. At MTB her role is crucial, since she is a key player in our ranking activities. Her job is to help keep us one step ahead of the competition by employing cutting edge (but very proprietary) ranking strategies. And when she is not executing proven strategies, she is testing new ones to keep us the best at what we do. Lea could tell you all about our secret tactics, but she won’t.

Quality control specialist

Yana is the team’s QC extraordinaire! Between organizing reports and aiding the web development group, she provides the all-around support needed to keep everyone on track. Yana is always striving to give her 100% to any work she does (send her scraps of paper and it’ll come back color-coded, stapled, and arranged by size). Her goal  is to help bring MTB’s objectives to fruition if not to the next level. When things are slow, she likes to spend time with her army of cats at home or go on long adventures with a good book.

She previously worked as a Website specialist for a Digital Marketing firm. Under duress, she is capable of doing anything creatively and wisely. As a graduate of Multimedia Arts, she has extensive experience in the digital industry, including photo editing, video editing, and photography. In her spare time, she enjoys listening to music, gardening, traveling, and watching Korean dramas.

Tim is a creative graphic designer with innovative ideas and a unique approach to visuals. With more than seven years of experience developing designs for print media, online websites, video, and advertising we throw Tim our most difficult projects knowing he can gets it done. 
 
Tim has a solid understanding of marketing principles and advertising techniques and knows how to draw people in. He has great attention to detail and a talent for creating memorable visual designs. Tim is a SUPER enthusiastic team player who is committed to delivering top results on time and within the budget.

Mia

Project Manager and Web Development

Mia is an avid learner – she loves researching, being creative, and trying out new things. She has worn many hats: project manager, web designer and developer, SEO, among many other things, and has also written reams of content for blogs and websites. After running her own online shop during her college days, she realized the potential in the digital marketing world. Mia worked very hard, devoured many courses, and honed her skills. Now, she is MTB’s main web developer and project manager.  She’s the one who has to manage all of the high speed traffic going in every direction for all of our clients at MTB – a challenge that she relishes and handles without breaking a sweat. In her free time, Mia enjoys doing CrossFit, taking even more courses (!), collecting stationery, and browsing the internet for creative inspiration, which she seems to find on a daily basis.
